Estate Agent's Office for KW Martin Lundy-Lester
I was asked to help a local estate agent who had just taken on a new office. The space was very clinical and lacked any sense of home comfort. The biggest issue was the echo in the space which made co-working very difficult and multiple conversation impossible. Using the corporate colours of red, white and grey, I introduced acoustic panelling to one wall and a soft seating area with a rug to create a welcoming environment for client meetings. A new desk more suited to the director and some practical storage. Changing the colour temperature of the lighting made an immediate impact on the environment. Finally using the agent's trade mark and fabulous drone photography we created some canvases with acoustic padding to help with the prevention of echo.

West Sussex Renovation
A very dated 4 bedroom house on a stunning plot in a semi rural West Sussex village needed a full renovation and extension. The previously cold and uninviting house is now a stunning contemporary home boasting 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a state of the art kitchen and 'retro' style to respect the original 60's property. Using the latest sustainable heating and high quality insulation along with photovoltaic panels, the property now has a EPC rating of B, and is ready to face the 21st Century in great style.

Buckinghamshire Family Home
Before
This chalet house built in the 1980's had very small dormer windows and an impractical bathroom in the eaves. Full modernisation including literally 'raising the roof' allowed a contemporary and practical family home to emerge. KBID carried out a full interior design service including kitchen, bathrooms and all decoration and soft furnishings. Bespoke joinery completes this stunning property.

Sussex Beach House
This unusual house had not been updated since a bold colour scheme was added in the early 1990's. A new calmer pallet, bespoke joinery, custom made upholstery and a very special hand made rug completely changed the interior to bring this bright comfortable home by the beach right up to date.

Computer Aided Design
& Visualisation
CAD drawings can help you visualise your space. Scale drawings allow me to communicate with your builder or architect, while 3D modelling can be a valuable tool if you just can't imagine how it will look. I make extensive use of spreadsheets to specify fixtures, fittings and equipment, so that a clear record is kept and can be referred to easily by client and trades alike.
